You can buy a microphone and headset at any electronics store, but below are some links to let your clicking do the picking. The Microphone/headset is the single most important tool you will need. Make sure you have two. One for backup. You can go old school and get the retro one. It is too cool for school. It is great looking however the audio is not as crisp.
You can also have a second roving reporter to interview coaches or fans to add drama and excitement to your broadcast. A wireless headset is useful for some venues. Innovative broadcasters have used cell phones for interviews. Just find a headset that will plug in and call the announcers booth with the interview. A patch cable from the second cell phone to the computer is all you need.
